This is Mad Mike, the mostly harmless semi-guide to the site. I know what you’re thinking, who are we, and how did you end up here?
The answer is simple, young panda. This is the AMS— Anime and Manga Society of UNR.
We watch anime, hang out, have fun, and occasionally have parties involving cosplay, video games, dancing, and other weird things (check our videos for more explanation).
We meet regularly on Fridays, starting around seven o’clock and ending at whenever we finally give out from exhaustion and go home.
We’re the AMS of UNR, and we like abbreviations ^^.
We don’t make sense, and neither do most of our jokes.

Update from Beta to answer a lot of questions:
To join, you just need to come to meetings. As far as we’re concerned, if you’re here, you’re already a member! There are no membership dues. To become an officer in the club you just need to take the initiative and help in every way you can. Don’t wait for us to tell you what needs to be done, just do it! That’s how all of us in power came to that power. You don’t have to be a UNR student to join or even help run things. Most of the officers in the club are not UNR students. We’re always looking for UNR students to be club officers, because without them we have no club. ~Beta

I was wondering if anyone had a copy of the old website from 2003 or so. There was artwork of mine that had been posted without permission under someone elses’ name. Do you have an art page I can check out to make sure it hasn’t been kept? Thanks guys.

Are you still having Friday night get meetings? If so, do we have to be UNR students to attend? Are 17 and 18 year old High School Seniors allowed? We went to the 2009 Shadows last month and had a great time. Are there membership dues for the Friday night meetings?
